TODAY
Hello there! I'm Georgius Bryan Winata, and you can call me Bryan. I'm currently a 4th year student pursuing a degree in Digital Media at York University @Toronto.
GROWING UP
Since I was a kid, I’ve always been surrounded by art. I started painting lessons at 5 because my mom said I was a good painter—mainly because of the “masterpiece” I scribbled all over the living room wall. Later, my dad introduced me to photography, teaching me how to use a camera. That sparked my interest in videography and proper photography, which I kept exploring through my teenage years.
MY INTEREST IN DESIGN
When I went to university, I took the chance to explore various disciplines, and UI/UX design was one of them. Although I had never been exposed to digital design before, I was intrigued by the profound impact UX has on solving real-world problems. This newfound passion drove me to pursue projects and opportunities where I could apply these principles to create meaningful and impactful designs.
01/'24 - 08/'24
I owned the major redesign of Form's design system and worked on the improvement of the annotation feature.
08/'23 - 12/'23
I led 6 UX interns in creating a visual prototype for LLM-powered streaming platform for early-stage startup.
